We’re hiring! The search has started for a new Managing Director to lead the MBOLD Coalition following JoAnne Berkenkamp’s retirement this summer. This role is a unique opportunity for impact and creativity at scale in food and agriculture systems.  

An initiative of GREATER MSP, MBOLD accelerates bold, innovative solutions to growing global food demand in the face of natural resource limitations and anincreasingly volatile climate. MBOLD leaders are committed to working together through pre-competitive collaboration to drive progress at scale.

The Managing Director plays a central executive leadership role in designing and driving action across our diverse array of MBOLD coalition leaders and U.S. and international partners. MBOLD’s membership includes General Mills, Cargill, Schwan’s Co., Target, Compeer Financial, the University of Minnesota, AURI, Naturally Minnesota and McKinsey & Co., and we have a growing array of 20+ partners including businesses large and small, research institutions, farm and trade organizations, philanthropy and government.

We are focused on growing global impact in key areas including innovation in protein sustainability, agricultural resiliency, and circular economies for plastic packaging. Initiatives like the MBOLD Protein Catalyst are de-risking new food and agricultural pathways, accelerating innovation, building new markets for farmers, scaling up high growth companies, and more. This role is based in Saint Paul, MN.
