The crew at MBOLD is excited to welcome a new member to the GREATER MSP staff. BJ Haun is joining us next week in a newly created role: MBOLD Director of Agricultural Resiliency. BJ brings 15+ years of experience advancing technology adoption to foster agricultural innovation, sustainability and resilience across the food and ag value chain. He has a track record for leading cross-sector collaborations and delivering market-based solutions that align commercial, environmental, and producer outcomes.
BJ brings a strong entrepreneurial mindset and has been in the trenches to launch and run multiple ag-related start-ups. He also has an agronomy degree from the University of Wisconsin and advanced degrees in plant biology and plant breeding/genetics from Minnesota and Wisconsin, respectively.
With BJ’s combination of business and ag tech experience, he will play a central role in leading MBOLD’s existing agriculture portfolio and advancing animal feed components of our Protein Catalyst initiative. He will also drive efforts to design the next phase of MBOLD’s work in the agricultural resiliency space. As MBOLD embarks on that planning effort, we will welcome input from many of you in the months ahead.
Please join us in welcoming BJ!
